I am excited to introduce a new series to the blog… Check Out This Etsy Shop… Every week, I will highlight a favorite etsy shop of mine and I am kicking off this series with a good friend’s shop! I met Shantelle a couple of years back and she is the sweetest, most genuine person you’ll ever meet! In her shop Just Luved, Shantelle sells handmade rag quilts and other shabby sweet items. She has always loved the vintage appeal that rag quilts have and the originality that comes with a special handmade product. What I love about her shop is the ability to choose from the variety of quilts on her site or you can special order a quilt with the colors and fabric ideas for your space. It is such a meaningful and personal addition to a nursery and would also make a wonderful, thoughtful gift for a baby shower. I decided to take one of my favorite quilts from her shop and build a nursery around the color scheme. Here is the precious quilt…
You Need to Check Out This Etsy Shop!!
The best thing about blogging and working in the design business is building relationships. Relationships that last and grow and can support one another. One of my past e-design clients, Sandra, has opened up her own etsy shop and I couldn’t be happier for her! I have worked with Sandra on a few of her spaces in her home and even worked with her daughter in creating a fun room to call her own. Sandra’s new shop, Swanson Lane Home is a true reflection of her eclectic, vintage style. From collectible French pieces to Hollywood Regency style, this shop has it all. I love putting a space together that looks collected… a room that doesn’t feel too matchy matchy, but rather looks like it has been put together over time. By adding some pieces from Sandra’s shop, you will get that style. Here are a few of my favorite accents from Swanson Lane Home…
My Fun, New Accessory by My Favorite Shop!
I love having a new accessory in our home… thinking about which room to style it in and just the excitement I get from collecting a new treasure, makes my day! My amazing sponsors, Anthology House, carry a stunning collection of high style vintage pieces for any room in your home. I am always on the hunt for a sculptural pretty brass accent piece to add to my space or a client’s space, and they are always my first stop! I thought it would be fun to select a piece from their shop to show you how I would incorporate it into my home. Since I love unique, versatile accent pieces that can be placed on a book shelf, table top or desk, I chose this beautiful brass rooster…
I recently put together a fall family brunch, and I decided to add my new treasure to the table’s decor!
When it arrived in the mail, I was so impressed with my little rooster’s stature and how heavy and sturdy he was! This piece is solid brass and is so amazing in person. The shop owners, Amy and Alyse, did a wonderful job with the packaging, as it was very well wrapped and enclosed in the box. The package even included a sweet handwritten note and a shop tag with pretty coordinating ribbon string…
It’s definitely the details you notice and this shop is one of a kind. I am so happy to say that we share a partnership through this blog and I know this won’t be my last purchase from their amazing shop!! Speaking of my purchase, this also won’t be the last place you’ll see him… this accessory is so versatile, I will be placing him in many different spots this year. To find that perfect treasure for your home, visit their shop, HERE or click on the Anthology House logo on my blog’s sidebar!!
{Sponsor Spotlight} Anthology House
I am super excited to introduce you again to my amazing sponsor, Anthology House. This eclectic, regency style etsy shop is owned by Amy and Alyse. They always amaze me with their vintage finds and unique accessories that could work in any room of your home. When shopping at box stores, you can often tell if all of your pieces were from one shop. But with Anthology House, you could literally buy up every piece and it would still bring that collected over time vibe to your home. I have decided to showcase 4 of the shop’s pieces and how they would work in a living room design…
I went with a chic black, cream and gold living room. It’s can be dressy, yet also comfortable and casual. The Greek Key Milk Glass Jar would look amazing on a shelf and can be found at their shop HERE. The Rembrandt Regency Lamp actually comes in a pair and can be found at the shop HERE. The pair would be amazing on either side of a console, behind a sofa. The Black Lacquer Box has this beautiful gold bamboo detail and can be found at their shop HERE. I imagine that on a coffee table, on top of a few great design books. And that stunning Brass Fireplace Screen would be the showstopper in any home and can be found at their shop HERE.
