Photo Reveal: Project Classic Trad

I am beyond thrilled to reveal the photos from Project Classic Trad!! This was such a great project to be a part of, with amazing clients and an overall style that is right up my alley… a blend of traditional with modern.Â Today, I’m showingÂ the living room and first floor bathroom. I couldn’t be happier to be working with Sarah Heppell on this project. She brought the rooms to life through her pictures and showed a sun filled space on a very cloudy day. That takes talent!! Here is the photo overload… enjoy!!

{I love that we upholstered my client’s favorite wing chair in new fabrics. Tonic Living has the best fabric options to choose from and a local upholsterer created this magic. I call it business in the front and party in the back!}

Current Projects and Inspirations

Happy almost spring!! I wanted to check in and share someÂ design updates and inspirations since the last time I wrote a post. There are several design projects that are nearing completion. Some we’ve been working on for about a year, so it will be super exciting to show those final reveals. In #ProjectClassicTrad we are almost there! So many great things happened and came together at our most recent install. Please keep in mind these are just quick phone pics and most of the constructionÂ materials are still around. There is still art to be hung and pillows to place, but we are super close. I just get so excited, that I love to show the during as much as the reveal!

And over at #ProjectRusticModern the office is ready for its close up! Again, these are just phone pictures…

My client moved from this apartment in the city to a farmhouse in the country! And we’ll be working together again for #ProjectFarmhouseGem to transform her sunroom. Here is the fabric scheme I’m currently thinking about…

The fabric selection is definitely an evolving process, so we’ll see which options make the cut.Â I am constantly on the hunt for ways to be inspired for projects. These images sum up where I’m at right now…

Happenings Around Here

Long time no blog?!? It’s been long overdue and I’m glad to be back at the keyboard. I think it’s so quick and easy to keep up to date on instagram, that it takes some thought and time to get back into blogging. But I have always loved it and even though it might not be on a regular schedule, I do plan to write here more often! Here are some highlights lately…

Before and After Bathroom design! I worked with a local client on her bathroom overhaul. {#projectclassictrad} This space was original to their 1950 homeÂ and it was fun coming up with a classic, timeless design.

I loved being a part of this transformation! There are still more accessories to install and we will eventually have the space photographed, but it is fun to see how far it has come!

I just presented a new project design for a sweet girl’s room. We originally started working together for their daughter’s nursery and then moved throughout the home. {You may remember #projectclassicliving} We are now redoing the original nursery design into a girl’s bedroom and play room. Here are some of the presentation sheets…

I am over the moon in love with these cute fabrics! I can’t wait to see it all come together!! My brother’s wedding is coming up soon and I went out dress shopping. It is a barn wedding in the fall and I know it will be such a picturesque place. This dress is the winner!

I am definitely not a fashion blogger by any means! 😉 This dress is comfortable, should work well in fall weather and a great blend of casual/dressy. {The royal blue dress in the background will be for the rehearsal the night before.} I always have great luck in Ann Taylor! My fastÂ summer time staple was no hair drying and a quick bun with wet hair. I will miss that carefreeÂ up do, once the freezing weather getsÂ here!!

We have made it a mission to start going to more state parks. It’s a fun family timeÂ adventure and this one did not disappoint…
