If you follow me on instagram {AmberBInteriors}, then you know we just got about 6 more inches of snow last night! Really?? I am definitely ready for spring. So even if we don’t have spring weather here yet, I can think about warm days through design ideas. The new trend in interiors is leaning more towards whimsical florals. I love the sweet, inviting charm of flowers in any form. Here are some great ways to splash some whimsical design into your home…
Not many people can pull off florals as well as Bailey!
Flowers can also be incorporated in just the accessories, like the two images above. The above living room is awakened with vases of fresh flowers!

Have you embraced the floral trend?? Large or small doses?
I'm stepping out of my comfort niche to comment, Amber!
I totally dig the "retroish" look of the first picture. Being not of sound decorating judgement, I must ask:
Is wallpaper coming back into style?
It's aparent that in many of the picture that you post, wallpaper is prominent.
A little whimsy never hurt anyone, did it? I love the navy and pink pillows.
Have a good weekend. Stay warm!

Ha! I was checking out your wallpaper after seeing your comment over at Emily's ~ no one would ever know! Happy weekend, we're in for snow too!
I've always loved a great floral – in small doses. So crazy about that image with Bailey's bedroom!

Loving the florals! I love navy and pink together (our oldest daughter's room here at home is white, navy and hot pink). Can't wait to see what you come up with for your secretary. Actually, one of the pillows I am using in my new craft room (work in progress, just posted a sneak peek) is a large floral.
I love the second gold flower wallpaper. One of my bloggy friends suggested I'd 'put that in my powder room but I was too lazy to wallpaper and it is also on the expensive side.

I really love it though!
We heart those Caitlin Wilson trio of pillows. She's an amazing textile designer. A favorite of ours right now is to cover an accent wall with bold floral wallpaper.
