Gathering Inspiration for Design Clients

September 20, 2012 by Amber Filed Under: design, design services, e-decorating, e-design Leave a Comment

I am knee deep in e-decorating projects, and I love it! When I am gathering inspiration for clients, I find that pinterest is a great source. The first component that I present to my clients is the inspiration board. It has a collection of inspiring rooms and ideas, with some specific pieces for the space. Lately, the designs I have been putting together make me want to re do some rooms in my own home! More on that later…
Here are some inspiring spaces that show a glimpse into the direction of some of my most recent projects:

I have a very very very long list of projects to complete and they seem to be happening at a snail's pace. But I will keep forging ahead and celebrating each small step!

Just a little fall decorating with new pillows …and perhaps some wallpaper on a bedroom wall. Can't wait to see what you are up to!

I am not sure where these mirrors are from, but I found an almost exact replica from Z Gallerie. They have both concave and convex mirrors. Here's the link! Hope this helps. 🙂

Umbrella update… after two years, this @target f Umbrella update… after two years, this @target find still looks brand new! It has been through wind, rain and lots of sunshine and still has that beautiful navy blue color. I wasn’t able to find the exact one, but my Like to Know It page has two very similar options! And if you need me, I’ll be here all weekend! #amberbdesignathome #coastalliving #poolside

Show houses are so fun to visit to gain inspiratio Show houses are so fun to visit to gain inspiration. I could probably write a whole blog post on the fun, new ideas I have for our home over the next few years. But I also think it’s meaningful to find joy with the changes you have already made in your spaces and to reflect on how far it’s come. When I walk into our family room, I feel at home. It makes me smile and it’s one of those spaces where I don’t want to change a thing. I think it’s worthwhile to celebrate being content and feeling joy in your home just as it is! Celebrate that corner of your room that took a while to get just right. Finding joy and contentment along the way and during the process makes the end result that much sweeter! #amberbdesignathome #coastalliving #howyouhome #loveyourhabitat
