I recently wrapped up an e-design project where we went super dark with the master bedroom walls. The chosen color was Graphite by Benjamin Moore, and it’s gorgeous!
Since this client has a ton of natural light in this space, it was just the moodiness we needed without it being too much. Just picture this color with ivory and brass accents! Here is Graphite in other amazing rooms found via pinterest…

Glad you posted this today. I've been thinking about painting our sons' bathroom walls a dark color but didn't know which one…graphite may be it! We just painted the ceiling of the boys' room Dark Olive by BM and we love how it turned out! Dramatic and cozy.
Painted our den a dark smokey amethyst. Morphs from purple undertones during the day, to more eggplanty brown at night. This room also has white woodwork and lots of windows…paired great with silvery grays and some poppy. My fav room in our house!

So just the other day I was telling a friend of mine that I'm thinking about repainting my bedroom dark gray…going so dark would be kind of gutsy for me. Hmmm, will have to ponder it some more.
